Horatio decided I needed to get out of the house, but not too far. So here we are in the backyard, typing away on my laptop by the fire pit. I must say it is invigorating - right up until that Nebraska breeze switches directions and I am inhaling the smoke form the leaves my son decided to put on the fire!
Today marks the last Saturday of NaNoWriMo 2020 and with it comes a huge hurdle for me. I have slacked off a few days this month (not so much slacked off, but put other priorities above getting words on the page) so now I find myself a bit behind in my word count goal for the month. I have a couple write -ins today to keep me motivated throughout the day; I can’t wait to see how far I can get toward my goal today! Not to worry - I plan on writing all day today and tomorrow with the hopes of getting back on track and being able to finish off this year’s NaNo with a win!
